University-Enterprise Cooperation | Nanjing Sunlord Scholarship Award Ceremony Held Successfully at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology

On the afternoon of April 26, our company held the 2023 Nanjing Shangluo Ivy Scholarship Award Ceremony at the Administration Building of Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology. Attending the ceremony were Li Jian, Director of the Student Affairs Office; Cheng Yanli, Director of the Alumni Affairs Office; Cai Huihua, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office; Ye Yudi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Telecommunications; Qin Shule, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Artificial Intelligence; and Zhou Saiping, Director of the Financial Aid Management Center. Also in attendance were Sha Hongzhi, Chairman of our company; Sun Jianjun, Director of the Technical Support Center; Gao Lei, Head of the Recruitment Management Department; and Han Yue, a representative of distinguished alumni.

The award ceremony was presided over by Cai Huihua, Deputy Director of the University Student Affairs Office.

Director Li Jian first expressed, on behalf of the university, gratitude to our company for its attention and support of the institution’s talent-development efforts. He provided a detailed overview of the review process for the Nanjing Shangluo Evergreen Ivy Scholarship and expressed his hope to maintain regular communication with our company to further strengthen university–enterprise collaboration. He also encouraged the honored students to remain true to their original aspirations in their future studies, work, and daily lives, to continue striving for excellence, and to serve as role models in the development of disciplines related to electronic information.

In his address, Chairman Sha Hongzhi of our company expressed gratitude to the university for its meticulous organization and provided a detailed overview of Nanjing Shangluo Co., Ltd.’s development. As a premier employment partner of the university, the company currently employs more than 20 alumni from Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology. He encouraged the award-winning students to broaden their horizons, work diligently, and uphold the university’s motto—“Cultivate Virtue, Investigate Things, Empower Oneself and Benefit Others”—so that they may contribute their youthful energy to social progress.

Subsequently, the distinguished guests presented scholarships and certificates of honor to the winning students and posed for a group photo.

In addition, Center Director Sun Jianjun used the Technical Support Center as an example to present an overview of “training and career planning for university‑graduates,” covering three key areas: departmental introduction, onboarding and development programs for new hires, and team‑building initiatives. Alumni representative Han Yue took the floor to express gratitude for the university’s nurturing, encouraging the award‑winning students to stay committed to their goals, forge ahead with courage, uphold the university’s motto, and cherish their bonds. The guests in attendance also addressed the students’ questions, fostering a warm and interactive exchange.

Scholarships are merely a source of motivation on the path ahead; receiving one does not mean you have reached your goals. Such achievements reflect only the past—what lies ahead remains uncertain. The journey after graduation will be fraught with challenges; smooth sailing and unobstructed progress are unlikely. We hope that Shangluo can offer students even a small measure of support, sharing our platform, our experience, and our broader perspectives. May you strive to deepen your professional knowledge, enhance your practical skills, remain grounded in truth, uphold integrity, set aside personal interests, and dedicate yourselves to serving society.
