Steady progress leads to far-reaching success; set sail to chase your dreams.
— Technical Support Department Assistant FAE Internship Project Report
On July 1, 2021, six outstanding newly hired graduates joined the FAE team within the Technical Support Department of the Business Development Center.
To help all team members quickly become familiar with the FAE workflow, deepen their understanding of the company’s product portfolio, and enhance their hands-on skills, the Business Development Center has specially designed a three-month, targeted project‑based internship program. This program enables interns to gain practical experience by working on real‑world projects, thereby becoming well‑acquainted with the product lines the company represents.
Six team members were divided into two groups, each mentored by a seasoned FAE instructor: the electric nose‑hair trimmer group led by Instructor Lu Mingyue, and the electrical remote‑control group led by Instructor Gong Wenyu. Both project teams designed and developed their hardware circuits using mainstream products from Shangluo’s product portfolio. Over these three intense yet inspiring months, everyone learned together and grew as a team, ultimately achieving their goals with success!
9:30 is the day when everyone presents and summarizes their internship projects. Let’s take a look at what the new generation has gained over these three months:
Reporting Date: September 30, 2021
Presenter: Nose Hair Trimmer Team: Chen Rui (Team Leader), Zhao Xiaoqing, Qian Jin;
Electrical Remote Control Team: Fan Yiwei (Team Leader), Xie Longsheng, Li Jing;
Attendees: Sun Jianjun, Lu Mingyue, Gong Wenyu, Wang Zuowu, Huang Yueping, Yu Feiran, Zhang Bingqing;

Presentation Highlights and Product Demonstration
First to present was the nasal hair trimmer team, led by Chen Rui. Zhao Xiaoqing and Qian Jin subsequently demonstrated the product’s features and delivered a project report. Discussions centered on the hardware—specifically the GD MCU (GD32F130F8P6)—and software development and debugging. Charging and charge‑protection functions are implemented using the Jiewate/JW4054 chip, while the hardware DC‑DC circuitry employs the Silergy/SY98081, along with the DRV8837C motor‑drive circuit.
The nose hair trimmer module primarily performs the following functions: button‑controlled motor speed and direction. Its real‑world applications include nose hair trimmers, razors, electric toothbrushes, fascia guns, and more. We will continue to refine and upgrade the design, enhance functionality, and optimize the appearance to deliver an even better user experience—and we’re confident that future iterations will bring you some delightful little surprises.

Presentation Highlights and Product Demonstration
Next up was the electrical remote‑control team, whose leaders—Fan Yiwei, Xie Longsheng, and Li Jing—presented a series of product‑function demonstrations, followed by summaries on the development of the remote’s transmitting‑side software, its receiving‑side software, and its hardware design.
The electrical appliance remote control module primarily performs the following functions: it uses an MCU—specifically the Xinhai/CS32L010F8U6—to recognize different buttons, transmit the corresponding button‑encoded data to the receiver, and employs a GD MCU/GD32F130 at the receiving end to display the received data. Application scenarios include TV remotes, air conditioner remotes, game controllers, and remote‑controlled toys.
Following the presentation, the mentor commended the new cohort on their impressive learning capabilities and the progress they have made at this stage, while also posing questions and offering feedback on their project milestones. In the end, based on their performance throughout the project, the mentor selected two outstanding team members: Chen Rui and Xie Longsheng.
On the long journey of passing on the torch, the path ahead is vast and the mission rests with the youth. In addition to recognizing and encouraging our trainees, we also presented awards to outstanding mentors Lu Mingyue and Gong Wenyu, expressing our gratitude for their extraordinary patience, dedication, and time invested in mentoring—empowering others through expertise, and empowering “professionalism” itself. They have played an irreplaceable role and delivered immeasurable value in cultivating talent within our organization. Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all our mentors for their hard work and unwavering commitment!
In the process of focused project design and debugging.
Thank you to our outstanding mentors, Lu Mingyue and Gong Wenyu.
